Erin graduated from law school at Elon University. Prior to attending law school, Erin earned her undergraduate degree in government from Campbell University after graduating high school in Carteret County.
Before returning to Carteret county, Erin worked for a year in Charlotte and spent two years practicing law in Greensboro.
Erin moved back to Carteret county in early 2013 and dedicated her career to family law. She is glad to be back on the coast with her family and friends. When Erin is not practicing law, she enjoys reading, sitting on the beach, and exercising. She is also very fond of her dogs and has fostered several dogs through Misplaced Mutts, including her one foster fail Curly.
